A poor Filter Cartridge

Many spa problems are caused by poor filtration. If a filter is functioning properly, it helps keep water clean by capturing debris and contaminants such as hair, oils and cosmetics. When a filter is dirty, much of this remains in the spa water. Cartridges should be removed from the filter housing and cleaned regularly. Cartridges should be replaced every 12 – 18 months to maintain optimum filtration.

To improve the efficiency of your spa filters we recommend the product 'Filter Brite' (also known as Renew). This product is a one shot cleaning program that removes oils, greases, scale and rust from spa filters. Filter Brite also sanitizes the filter, preventing the accumulation of bacteria and algae.
